I’m going through some old hard drives this week and came across this shoot that I had with my best friend Meredith way back in September! Richmond is the halfway point for us. Meredith lives in Waynesboro and I’m in Dumfries, so the drive between the two of us would be close to two and a half hours… but it only takes us an hour and fifteen to get to RVA! So any time there’s something going on down that way or we want to hang out, we’ll just drive to Richmond and make a day or an afternoon of it! And it usually includes our cameras!! :) There are very few people I know who are down for a mini photo shoot EVERY time I hang out with them… but I think that’s why we’re such close friends!! Pictures are ALWAYS a good idea in our book! I had so much fun taking these just for my own enjoyment. Most of them were shot at 1.2-1.6, which typically doesn’t happen, so I’m loving the pretty bokeh in these. I also had Meredith teach me how to pick out more creative spots to shoot in (like next to a cool tree or along a fence covered in vines) and I always love shooting with her because she is super creative and it challenges me to push my boundaries. I can’t wait until the next time we get to have a shoot together! :) Until then we have these!!
