I stepped out of my house and into the warm sunshine and couldn’t believe how PERFECT this day was for Mary Beth and Nathan. Although it hadn’t even been a month since I’d first met these two, they made a lasting impression on me during their engagement session and I knew Mary Beth was going to be glowing with happiness. I walked into her childhood home where her dad greeted me at the door. There is something so sweet about getting dressed for your wedding day in the house you grew up in! And a gorgeous house it was!! The living room wall was lined with windows from floor to ceiling and I got started right away with dress shots as Mary Beth and her mom sat in the kitchen getting their hair and makeup done. As the bridesmaids began to arrive, the anticipation built as Mary Beth got closer and closer to her First Look with Nathan.
When we arrived at Chantilly National, the sun was shining, birds were singing, a mild breeze was blowing and the moment could NOT have been more perfect. As Nathan embraced his bride beneath the shade of the front porch, a tear rolled down Mary Beth’s cheek as she said, “I’m just so happy!!” It was such a sweet moment to witness and I couldn’t help but shed a tear or two myself!! I know exactly how you feel, girl… I can’t wait to hug Justin for the first time on our wedding day, either!! I know it will be a moment I never forget.
Throughout the day the sun kept shining, the breeze kept blowing, and guests were in awe at the beauty of the landscape at Chantilly National. As the sun set the entire room lit up in orange and gold and it was the best ending and perfect beginning to the start of Mary Beth and Nathan’s life together. The gorgeous mint and blush bridesmaids dresses and lilac details were just a bonus on top of an already beautiful day! Enjoy this unforgettable spring wedding!!!
